Bio:

Lisa was born about 40 miles west of millennium city. She had a normal childhood, activities with friends, volunteer work at the hospitals in town (her
mother was an administrator), playing sports in high school, and doing very well in school – particularly in her science classes.

When she was 16 or 17 years old, her powers began to manifest. this both excited her (what she was learning she could do!) and worried her a bit (what
she could do!), and led her to wonder ing how this happening to her? This would eventually lead spending more time on her science class research – she
liked learning for the sake of learning, and she was trying to find out more about what was going on with her.

Gradutaing high school she enrolled at the University of Michigan, choosing a pre-med couse of study. She threw herself so completely into her courses
that she graduated with her bachelor’s in only 3 years. she realized she had been so focused on school work, she had missed the ‘college experience’ of
traveling, foreign study, of just being a 20 year old on her own. She decide to take a year and just travel and relax, preparing for the mental and
physical grind that she’d face in med shool.

The year off turned into two. She was having fun – traveling, learning about people and life, just in general it turned out she was shirking returning to shool and the grind. Finally she realized she had to commit to it, so she returned home and started med school. She found she didn’t have anything to be worried about – she was too busy learning how be a doctor to have time to think about anything else.

After completing her residency in Neurology, she was offered a Fellowship with L’Institut Thoth as an investigator. This gave her structured research time to complete learning about her powers – their scope and limitations, and it also gave her resources focused solely on various branches on study of the superhuman abilities.

With the end of time at L’Institute, she has returned home, and moved to Millenium City. She has started a small part time private practice in psychiatry, and consults occasionally for the L’Institut. She continues her own research into the causes of psionic abilities, publishing every so often in the journals.
